ExtraScan Head

ExtraScan Head

The ExtraScan Head is a fully digital scanning galvanometer built for high precision and low-drift requirements. It covers 10 / 14 / 20 / 30 mm aperture 2D galvanometers with an independently developed high-precision grating encoder and 23-bit position resolution, delivering excellent positioning and repeated-positioning accuracy. A flexible FPGA-based digital drive board can be matched to galvanometers with different loads, and the all-digital design minimises drift and maximises stability. Three series are available: ExtraScan I, ExtraScan II and ExtraScan IV.

Key Features:

  • 2D laser scan head with 10/14/20/30mm aperture
  • Self-developed high-precision grating encoder. 23bit position resolution digital motor achieves excellent positioning accuracy and repeatability.
  • Supports galvanometer position monitoring and position feedback to detect the status of the galvanometer in real time, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the galvanometer
  • All digital design ensures minimized drift and maximized stability.
