Oblique End-Face Lensed Fibers

The Oblique End-Face Lensed Fiber is produced with an oblique (angled) end face on conventional single-mode, multimode or polarization maintaining fiber. An end-face angle of 0° to 60° changes the optical transmission path or produces total reflection at a large angle, making the fiber suited to coupling a high speed receiver or laser to the fiber side surface. The end face geometry, strip length, pigtail type, pigtail length and connector are all made to order; the datasheet lists the complete specifications and the ordering information.
