Large Aperture DKDP Pockels Cell
Large Aperture DKDP Pockels Cell
Large aperture DKDP Pockels cells are designed for high power, high energy, large spot applications. The DKDP crystal is a uniaxial crystal with excellent optical quality, giving an extinction ratio of >2000:1 (measured with a 632 nm He-Ne laser) and a transmittance of >98 %. The high damage threshold and low insertion loss make them suitable for large-caliber, high-energy, narrow-pulse Q-switched laser systems.
Features
- Wave front distortion: <λ/4
- Short rise time: ~3 pF
- High transmittance: >98 %
- High damage threshold: >3 GW/cm²
- No static birefringence, no photorefractive damage
- Anti-reflective coated quartz window
- Resistant to ambient temperature shock with excellent electro-optic performance
