Extra-Galvo Scanner
Extra-Galvo Scanner
The Extra-Galvo Scanner is a two-axis galvanometer scan set that uses a grating encoder as its feedback system, giving very high resolution and repeatability with very low drift. Its 23-bit resolution delivers excellent positioning and repeated-positioning accuracy, with position monitoring and feedback of the galvanometer and real-time status detection. Because installing the grating needs more space, the encoder section at the base of the unit sits higher than on a photoelectric analog galvanometer.
Key Features:
- The single-axis galvanometer consists of a galvanometer part based on moving magnet technology and a high precision sensor as a feedback part.
- Through kinematics and dynamics simulation, the mirror with certain inertia is matched for each galvanometer. Moreover, the rotor of the galvanometer has been optimized and has excellent dynamic properties and response characteristics.
- Grating galvanometer is a kind of galvanometer with grating encoder as feedback system. It has the characteristics of high resolution, very high repeatability and very low drift, and keeps good repeatability even under the condition of ambient temperature change.
- Galvanometer scanning mirrors are available for common laser wavelengths and energy levels; all mirrors are optimised to take account of the inertial load, rigidity and flatness of the mirror.
