2000 nm Faraday Rotator Mirror FM-2000
The 2000 nm Faraday Rotator Mirror (FM) is a passive device that provides 90 degree rotation regarding to the polarization state of the input light. It works as an alternative to polarization-maintaining fiber to minimize the SOP drifting effects. This greatly enables better control over the design of systems such as fiber sensors, amplifier and lasers. The FM offers excellent performance including the lowest possible insertion loss and enviromental stability. It is used in EDFAs, fiber lasers and fiber instruments to mininize the polarization effect.
